AEG AIRSOFT GUNS

Aeg stands for automatic electric gun. In the 1980's you could not own a firearm in Japan. However interest in firearms was high. So companies began making replicas of popular firearms. These replicas were powered by spring systems then gas systems. Once americans got wind of them in the 1990's airsoft was born. Unfortunatly , the first guns to make it to America were usually poor quality and powered by a weak spring system. Around this time Japan hit a recession. This recession wiped out almost all the makers of airsoft guns. One of the companies that survived, Tokyo Marui invented the Aeg gun. Within a few years with the advent of a hop up system aeg airsoft guns became much more powerful and far more accurate. Of course Americans appetite for the new guns drove unprecedented demand allowing for other companies to enter the industry including Classic Army of Hong Kong. Many people would agree that Classic Army makes an even better product then Tokyo Marui.

There are many advantages and some disadvantages to a Aeg Airsoft Gun over a spring powered gun. Advantages

Aeg Guns can fire in rapid succession up to 6000 rounds per minute ( in the more expensive offerings). Aeg Guns will typically outlast a spring gun as springs tend to wear out over time. Aeg Guns are usually more powerful than spring guns ) except in the most expensive spring guns.

Disadvantages

Aeg guns are usually heavier than spring guns Aeg guns need a battery and once depleted will not fire Aeg guns tend to go through many rounds due to the rapid fire.

You can find a replica Aeg airsoft guns of almost any firearm. The most popular being Ar 15 models, Mp 5 series, Ak models, and Heckler and Koch g36 ( a very common sniper rifle in movies)

An airsoft rifle set at 600 fps with the correct pellet can be accurate up to 200 feet. While Aeg airsoft guns shoot plastic pellets you should know that the muzzle velocity on many models approaches the velocity of many air guns shooting led pellets. To be sage all players should be wearing proper gear and to be even safer you should not shoot other players in the face.
